Join us on September 27, 2024, for a momentous celebration as we officially unveil our newly renovated Planetarium free to the public!
The day will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., featuring honored guests, dignitaries, sponsors, partners, and supporters. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness the transformation of our Planetarium, which now boasts new seating, enhanced visibility, fresh carpeting, and a cutting-edge 5.1 surround-sound system, all powered by the advanced Digitarium Lambda Plus laser projection system.
Following the ceremony, we invite the public to enjoy screenings throughout the day, showcasing the exciting capabilities of our upgraded facility.
In the evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., we will host an exclusive VIP reception and movie screening for our valued donors. Tickets for this special evening event are priced at $150 and provide a unique chance to experience our Planetarium in a way that is both immersive and engaging.
This grand reopening marks a new chapter for the Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium, reinforcing our commitment to education, conservation, and community engagement. We are excited to share this remarkable journey with you!
