Excitement is revving up across the trails, exhibits, and dome at Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium as two of our most anticipated events of the year officially launch this week.
Prepare for screams in the forest at the return of Haunted Walk: Terror in the Woods — Southwest Florida’s most immersive haunted trail experience — and journey through space, color, and sound with the debut of the full-dome planetarium spectacular Beautifica.
Tickets are on sale now, and demand is high for both events. Don’t miss your chance to experience the thrill, wonder, and wild side of Calusa this fall.
HAUNTED WALK: Terror in the Woods

Back and darker than ever, Terror in the Woods transforms Calusa’s forested trails into a living nightmare. This is Southwest Florida’s most immersive haunted trail — where nature itself becomes your worst fear.

🅿️ PARKING REMINDERS:
Our lot fills up quickly. Overflow parking is available off-site on the west side of Ortiz—just follow the sidewalk to the Haunted Walk entrance.
Walmart and Colonial Center Drive (by Truist) are also options, but park at your own risk. Management has stated there will be no towing, but please use ONLY legal crosswalks and be alert—your safety is our top priority.
