FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2026) — The Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium (CNCP) is pleased to announce the election of Veronica LeBlanc to its Board of Directors. LeBlanc serves as Vice President, Head of Retail Sales, and Gateway Branch Office Manager for Sanibel Captiva Community Bank and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in banking, operations, and community engagement.
LeBlanc’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium, which has experienced significant organizational growth, expanded community engagement, and renewed financial and operational strength over the past year. As the organization continues to advance major initiatives—including facility restoration, expanded educational programming, and signature fundraising and cultural events—LeBlanc’s expertise and community-focused leadership will help guide CNCP’s next chapter.
In addition to her professional background, LeBlanc is deeply involved in the Southwest Florida community. She has held leadership and volunteer roles with the Kiwanis Club of Fort Myers/Gateway, the Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Entrepreneur Society of America, reflecting a strong commitment to civic engagement and nonprofit service.
“Veronica brings exactly the kind of experience, perspective, and values that Calusa needs as we look toward the future,” said Eric Raddatz, Executive Director of Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium. “We are incredibly proud to welcome her to the board. As the organization continues to grow and evolve, her leadership and broad vision will be an asset as we build on our momentum and expand Calusa’s impact in the community.”
