Campers become explorers, archaeologists, and nature detectives as they investigate fossils, ancient artifacts, and the people who once called this land home. This weeks adventure blends archaeology, fossil hunting, and “nature CSI” as campers examine clues from the past to solve real-world mysteries. Through interactive activities, outdoor exploration, and creative challenges, campers might dig for artifacts, analyze tracks and traces, or piece together clues like real investigators. Every day brings a new discovery and a deeper connection to Florida’s natural and cultural history.
