Two-time 2026 Blues Music Award nominee for Acoustic Artist of the Year and Acoustic Album of the Year (Between Somewhere and Goodbye), Doug MacLeod is an internationally acclaimed blues singer/songwriter, guitarist, and storyteller known for his soulful vocals, masterful guitar work, and riveting live performances. At the heart of his music is storytelling, bringing deeply human characters to life with honesty, wit, and soul.
A multiple Blues Music Award winner, MacLeod previously earned 2024 Acoustic Album of the Year (Raw Blues 1) and 2023 Acoustic Artist of the Year honors, along with additional nominations in 2025. His albums A Soul to Claim(produced by Jim Gaines) and Between Somewhere and Goodbye (produced by Andreas Werner) were named DownBeatMagazine Albums of the Year in 2022 and 2025.
