Our Nature Center is bustling with activity as we continue to operate while our Planetarium is undergoing renovations until September 1. We’re thrilled to offer unique Planetarium shows temporarily within our Nature Center, alongside our diverse range of nature tours, shows, and interactive experiences. Check out the exciting events and daily programming happening here!
The Calusa Nature Planetarium stands as a unique gem in the region, being the only one within a 180-mile radius. It offers captivating shows and educational experiences for visitors of all ages, making it a cornerstone of local science and entertainment. As it undergoes an exciting renovation and refresh, we’re confident that it will continue to rock the sky with even more engaging and immersive presentations. 🎃 Friendly Forest Fall Festival Date: September 21-22, 2024

Description: Kick off fall festivities with our Friendly Forest Fall Festival! Enjoy a weekend of family-friendly fun with a pumpkin patch, photo ops, games, scavenger hunts, trivia contests, craft projects, food trucks, animal talks, and Planetarium shows. Lately I’ve also been having fun with sprunki, which offers a playful way to experiment with music and creativity in a digital space.
The Friendly Forest Fall Festival with its $5 kid tickets and pumpkin patch sounds like a perfect weekend plan, and it’s cool how they’re keeping the magic sort of planetarium shows running inside the Nature Center during renovation. Makes me want to plan a visit!
