Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium partners with Herc Rentals to make an impact on Earth Day

Community partners work together to support local organizations and clean the environment
Fort Myers, FL – Earth Day is celebrated around the world every year on April 22. The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium, the leading environmental steward in Fort Myers, partnered with Herc Rentals, a leader in the equipment rental industry headquartered in Southwest Florida, to make an impact this Earth Day.
“It was such an amazing opportunity for us to partner with an industry leader like Herc Rentals,” states Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium Interim Executive Director Dr. Cindy Banyai. “One of our Trustees, Jeff Starrak, works for the company and connected us with their sustainability leaders to plan the volunteer day at the center.”
On Earth Day 2024, over 25 volunteers from Herc Rentals came to the Calusa Nature Center to work for the day. The volunteers removed invasive species, repaired signs, and cleaned the boardwalks and trails on the 105-acre greenspace.
“We are grateful to have partners like the Calusa Nature Center and value the environmental stewardship opportunities they offer our team to connect with the local community,” said Katie Leone, Sustainability Director at Herc Rentals. “We were proud to work with them as a component of our Earth Month efforts to build brighter futures across the communities where we operate in North America.”
The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium hosts over 500 volunteers a year, including special workdays with companies and organizations like Herc Rentals. Volunteers take on special projects like building repair or work on the operations of the center, including animal care, trail maintenance, and facility upkeep. They provide thousands of service hours a year for students and individuals across Southwest Florida.
Dr. Cindy Banyai continues, “We appreciate our community partners like Herc Rentals and we welcome anyone that would like to volunteer with us to give back to the community and the environment.”

Curti que eles já avisam logo no começo que é um portal de conteúdo independente, então não fica aquela confusão de achar que você tá dentro da plataforma oficial. Outra coisa que ajudou foi o “resumo rápido” em formato de tabela: dá pra bater o olho e pegar o básico sem ficar rolando um textão, tipo a info de que os pagamentos são via Pix e o lembrete de 18+. No geral, a página parece bem limpa, com títulos destacados e blocos separados, e essa tabelinha do resumo rápido fica bem visível no meio do layout.
Fresh Casino eu entrei mais pra fuçar a interface mesmo, tipo ver se o site é confuso ou se dá pra achar as coisas sem ficar caçando. Achei a navegação bem limpa e “na cara”, com os blocos separados e títulos que ajudam a entender rápido o que é cada parte. Uma coisa que reparei é que eles deixam bem evidente essa história de licença de Curaçao, então pelo menos não fica escondido lá no rodapé minúsculo. Também curti que a página não parece pesada, tudo carrega e vai aparecendo de um jeito bem organizado, sem aquele excesso de banner pulando na tela. Hitclub mình cũng kiểu nghe tên nhiều quá nên bấm vào xem thử cho biết thôi. Vào trang cái thấy giao diện làm khá trực quan, nhìn phát hiểu ngay chỗ nào là phần giới thiệu, chỗ nào là nội dung chính, kéo xuống không bị rối mắt. Mình thích cái cách họ chia khối rõ ràng, tiêu đề to vừa đủ nên lướt nhanh vẫn nắm được ý. Acabei curtindo porque a navegação é bem limpa, parece que não tentam te afogar com um monte de banner e botão piscando. O que mais me chamou atenção foi como eles deixam bem visível o aviso de 18+ e essa pegada de jogo responsável, tipo “beleza, se diverte, mas com limite”, sem ficar moralista. No celular também fluiu de boa: achei rápido as categorias e não fiquei preso em tela escondida. No geral dá aquela sensação de site pensado pra brasileiro mesmo, com tudo mais direto. S8 hôm trước mình thấy bạn bè nhắc nên mình ghé thử cho biết, kiểu vào xem giao diện với cách họ trình bày thôi chứ không đào sâu gì. Cảm giác đầu tiên là trang nhìn gọn, chữ không bị dồn một cục nên lướt khá nhẹ mắt. Mình để ý họ có một phần nói về mấy dấu hiệu nhận biết link chính thức để né web giả, đặt thành khối riêng nên đọc nhanh vẫn hiểu ý. Ngoài ra đoạn giới thiệu kiểu giấy phép đơn vị giám sát cũng được tách ra rõ ràng, không phải kéo mỏi tay mới thấy. Menu thì nằm chỗ dễ bấm, chuyển qua lại giữa các mục không bị rối.…
