Tampa Bay Tour

We depart from CNCP at 7 am for a two-hour motor coach ride to St. Petersburg. First, we'll stop off at the St. Pete Pier, where you'll embark on a boat tour of Tampa Bay, floating past a bird sanctuary and netting and releasing marine organisms for citizen science. Afterwards, visit the education center of Tampa Bay Watch. There, you'll see up close more of the creatures of the Tampa Bay estuary, including seahorses and pufferfish. Then, enjoy some free time to wander the newly renovated pier and have lunch there, in a local cafe or at a food truck from the nearby Saturday Morning Market. After lunch, docents lead small groups on a tour of the wildlife art at The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art.
