Hold your event in one of Florida's most unique venues. Indoor and outdoor spaces are available. Weddings, showers, meetings, and parties of all types are welcome.
 
Indoor event space includes Iona House, Natural History Museum, Planetarium, Museum Classroom, and Tom Allen Room. 

Outdoor event space includes Pine Pavilion with adjacent greenspace, Iona House meadow, Fire Circle, and McNew Pavilion under the museum.

Rental Request Form

Please fill out the form below completely. Every event is "custom" so please understand, that we can't give estimates, dates, etc. until we receive this information. Please do not send other emails or call us, as it may delay the processing of your request. You will see a confirmation on the screen once you hit "submit." So, if you have submitted the form, know that we have received it.

Event Rental Pricing and Policies

Thank you for your interest in hosting your event with our venue. Below please find the pricing and description for each venue we have available. Please download the Official Rental Agreement that outlines our rental policies.

INDOOR RENTAL VENUES

Indoor rental venues include Air Conditioning, 6' Rectangular Table, and Chairs.

PLANETARIUM: Capacity 90 • $150 per hour

IONA HOUSE: Capacity 85 • $150 per hour (Saturdays and Sundays until 6:30PM) (6' - (8 Tables total) and 8' - (7 Tables total) Rectangular Table and Basic Brown Chairs are Provided, but not set up by CNCP staff)

MUSEUM: Capacity 50 • $150 per hour

​

CLASSROOM: Capacity 45 • $80 per hour

​

TOM ALLEN CONFERENCE ROOM: Capacity 15 (8 at a table)

$50 per hour

OUTDOOR RENTAL VENUES

Outdoor rental venues include Picnic Tables, 6' Rectangular Table, and Chairs.

MCNEW PAVILLION: Capacity 130 • $90 per hour (Located at the lower level of the museum with picnic tables)

PINE PAVILLION/MEADOW/FIREPIT: Capacity 200

$225 per hour (no picnic tables)

Disclaimer: Pine pavilion/meadow can flood in the wet season and can cause the ground to be wet and muddy. Pine pavilion/meadow is ideal for events from November to May.

WILD BIRTHDAY PARTY

Celebrate your child’s birthday by getting WILD at Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium! The WILD Birthday Party package includes 2.5 hours of party time in the Iona House for up to 30 guests! Your child can choose from 2 of the following activities: a private planetarium show, a private animal show, guided environmental arts and crafts activity, nature bingo with prizes for 1st and 2nd place, or a guided nature hike!

 

Maximum Guest Count: 30 • $500

(Additional guests are 50% of general admission)

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

PRIVATE PLANETARIUM SHOW: 30-40 min. • $60

PRIVATE ANIMAL PRESENTATION: Approx. 30 min • $60

Please note: Animals have moods and personalities. In some cases, an animal may not want to cooperate on the day of your event. For the safety of guests and staff, CNCP reserves the right to replace the animal show with an alternative activity due to unforeseen circumstances.

GUIDED NATURE HIKE: 30-40 min. • $60

​

A/V EQUIPMENT: $120.00
